In the morning at the Tscheischa T-bar lift, you can feel the peace and quiet of the Avers winter: no crowds, no hustle and bustle, just you, the snow and the mountains. Gentle slopes alternate with sporty descents. Children laugh as they take their first turns on the pony lift.

In the Avers, winter lies on quiet paths. Hiking trails lead to Juf, the highest settlement in Europe that is inhabited all year round. Cross-country ski trails accompany the Avers Rhine through a glistening snowy landscape, and in the evening the lights of the Cawetta lift bathe the valley in a soft glow – night skiing under a starry sky.
