The Vals ski area offers plenty of room for good feelings, pure snow sports without queues and crowds. Spacious pistes, gentle hollows and couloirs are able to enthuse skiers, carvers, freeriders and snowboarders alike.

On the children's meadow with pony lift and magic carpet, the youngest get used to the ups and downs of the mountain. The Vals snow sports school offers a comprehensive range of courses for those who want to get better at it.

Those who like it slow and who enjoy this peace and beauty can make their own tracks with snowshoes. Whatever you love, nature has given us a rich gift, and we let her have it too without face-lifting by artificial snow.

The snow-sport area on the Dachnerg extends from 1250 m a.s.l. to nearly 3000 m a.s.l. and amazes at every level with the natural backdrop. It is among the highest ski areas in Graubünden. The 8-person gondola lift brings you to the Gadastatt at 1817 m a.s.l. Three further lifts lead from Gadastatt up to the high alpine scenery of the Dachberg. A sunny day up there offers an imposing panorama of the Easter Alps with the Bernina massif as far as the 4000-metre Walliser mountain. The Dachberg is a tempts you with its offer of varied and carefully prepared pistes of all levels of difficulty but is still a quiet and personal snow sport area.
