The ATC Avalanche Training Centre is a stationary facility for practising avalanche victim searches with avalanche transceivers and avalanche probes. It enables training in the use of emergency equipment under almost realistic conditions.

Description

It is absolutely essential to avoid an avalanche through prudent behaviour, but if it does happen, rescue can be a matter of minutes!

The ATC Avalanche Training Centre is a stationary facility for practising avalanche victim searches with avalanche transceivers and avalanche probes. It enables training in the use of emergency equipment under almost realistic conditions.

The facility is in operation during the winter season.

The facility is located directly by the car park (entrance to Auvers-Juf) on the left-hand side.
