Bitabergh Lake

Description
Lake Bitabergh lies at 1855 m in a sparse larch forest. A very nice place for a picnic or a short trip into the water when the surrounding lakes are still too cold for it, it is best reached from the Maloja-Orden dam. This is also the starting point of the "Smugglers' Trail" for children, which adds a little smuggling adventure to the ascent to the lake.
In winter, a signposted snowshoe trail leads through the woods to Lake Bitabergh.
