Bündnertuch

Based on the old formula of the historic Truns cloth factory, the label’s fabric has been further developed and adapted to the requirements of modern times. The colouring is more harmonious, and the cloth is lighter, finer and more comfortable to wear. The fabric is spun, dyed, woven, fulled, and densified in 14 artisanal steps. New wool regulates moisture, protects against cold, and is self-cleaning. The company has been producing uniforms for Grisons mountain guides and traditional sweaters for ten years. With the new label, “Bündnertuch” gains visibility and relevance while production is professionalised and expanded. As a side effect, a Grisons cultural asset is preserved, and meaningful jobs are created in the mountain region.
