Description

Building history The foundation stone was laid by Fr. Josef Pontenico, a Capuchin priest from the province of Brescia. Consecration on the occasion of an episcopal visitation on June 25, 1683 in honour of the Holy Trinity and St. Mary of the Snows. Description of the building Southeast-facing, baroque chapel with a slightly recessed, vaulted choir closed on three sides. The nave is covered with a wooden barrel vault. Arched windows and unadorned gallery. There are round-arched niches in the façade, which are decorated with handcrafted paintings. Gabled roof and octagonal ridge turret. The altar forms a two-column aedicule. In the gable is a fine Baroque figure of the enthroned Virgin Mary, dating from around 1680. Bells With pictures and inscriptions, 1719.
