Description
The chapel is open in summer and closed in winter.
According to the inscription on the altar sill, the small chapel with an almost square chancel, vaulted by a barrel vault, was built in 1684. There is a bell yoke on the wall above the chancel arch. The bell bears the inscription 1683 and the small altar dates from the time of construction. The picture depicts the beheading of the patrons.
(Recorded by: Regiun Surselva)
The chapel with its crosses for avalanche victims above the entrance is still a place of procession and pilgrimage today. Its powers are high and suggest that it was a place of worship in pre-Christian times.
