The Sogn Roc chapel is located at the rear edge of the village of Lumbrein in the direction of Vrin. It was built during the plague in 1628/29. Key available.
Description
Key available from Giachen Giusep Derungs, Tel. 0041 81 931 18 35 The west-facing chapel with lancet windows, uniform gabled roof and murals was built during the plague in 1628/29 and consecrated in 1630; it was given a plague cemetery. Decor: The altarpiece depicts the Virgin Mary between St. Roch and St. Sebastian. (Recorded by: Regiun Surselva)
