Description
The history
First mentioned in 1480, the patron saints were St. Sebastian, Mary Magdalene and St. Jörg, but in 1522 St. Mary Magdalene took first place. 1520 New building with three altars and re-consecration. The surrounding walls of the nave and the tower are part of the older structure.
Description of the building
East-facing church with a rectangular nave and choir closed on three sides. The disposition suggests that the enclosing walls of the nave and the tower are older than the choir. Pointed arch windows with simple tracery. The round-arched, late Gothic portal on the west front.The tower: on the north side made of irregular masonry. Carpentered belfry with tent roof.
Furnishings
A wall tabernacle on the north wall. The pulpit, a polygonal corpus with corner pillars.Communion jug: Prismatic screw-top jug 1796.Bells: Around 1510-1520 and 1932 with inscriptions.
