The wine-growing village of Fläsch, the northernmost community of the Bündner Herrschaft, is located on the Fläscherberg and offers excellent wines from sixteen producers. It borders St. Gallen and Liechtenstein and is known for its southern exposure and the Föhn wind.

Description

The wine-growing village of Fläsch is the northernmost municipality in the Bündner Herrschaft and borders on the canton of St. Gallen and the Principality of Liechtenstein. The village lies at the foot of the Fläscherberg, away from the main thoroughfares. With a good southern exposure, excellent grapes grow on the scree of the mountain. The “oldest Fläscher”, the Föhn wind, ensures optimal ripeness in the fall. 16 wineries cultivate 48 hectares of vineyards and press their own wines from them. Behind the Regitzerspitz (1135 m above sea level), the passage over the Luzisteig and the 2599 m high Grauspitz in the Falknis massif are located in the municipality. The Fläscher Alps are also located there.
