Exhibition "10 Postcards from the Engadine - In the Footsteps of Segantini" by Margherita Lazzati in the Waldgalerie La Punt Chamues-ch.

Description

Margherita Lazzati returns to the forest gallery in La Punt Chamues-ch after four years with *10 postcards in Segantini's footsteps*. Ten large panels are displayed in the gallery's glass cases in the Chamues-ch forest; a tour through the images, taken by the Milanese photographer at various times, tracing the footsteps of Segantini's works from his final years in the Upper Engadine. A work of personal remembrance, full of wonder at the unfolding nature, a journey to a place of affection and memories intertwined with a homage to the artist's work, "his feel for simple gestures, everyday scenes, glimpses into real life" (ML). The exhibition comprises seven photographs measuring 90 x 120 cm, two collages of four photographs each, also measuring 90 x 120 cm, and a vertical collage of 24 photographs measuring 90 x 140 cm. 12-color pigment print on 260 g paper, mounted on 3 mm thick Dibond. **Location:** God Fainchs, Chamues-ch (access from the Chamues-ch village square is signposted). Visitors can participate in a competition. The prize is one of the exhibited paintings. Competition forms can be obtained on the walking tour or at the La Punt Tourist Information office. The exhibition runs from June to October. It opens with a [vernissage](www.engadin.ch/en/guide/arts-culture/galleries/forest-gallery-exhibition-10-postcards-from-the-engadine-in-the-footsteps-of-segantini) on Sunday, July 5th.
