Gebiet Ringelspitzkette

The Ringelspitz is with 3247 m above sea level the highest mountain in the tectonic arena Sardona. This is also where the area of the Glarus thrust reaches its highest point at around 3100 m above sea level. the Glarus thrust can be traced in the west on the Glaserhorn-Tristelhorn chain and in the Sardona group and in the north in the Pizol area and in the south in the area of the Anterior Rhine, which gives a good overview of their spatial course.
