Description

At 3,247 meters above sea level, the Ringelspitz is the highest mountain in the Tectonic Arena Sardona. Here, the surface of the Glarus Thrust also reaches its highest point at around 3,100 meters above sea level. The Glarus Thrust can be traced to the west along the Glaserhorn–Tristelhorn ridge and the Sardona Group, and to the north in the Pizol area. To the south, it is presumed in the Vorderrhein region, providing a good overview of its spatial extent.
