Description
Hauptichopf is situated above the dairy Maran, accessible by various hiking trails. The meadowy plateau lays a little bit higher than the fores boundary and offers a wonderful view onto the village, down the valley Schanfigg and to the majestic alpine peaks arouns Arosa.

Public Transport
The Rhaetian Railways bring you from Chur to Arosa in hourly intervals. Take the Cable car Arosa-Weisshorn to the middlestation or the local bus to Prätschli. Continue by foot on the hiking trails.
Directions
At the entrance to the village, near the petrol station, turn right in the direction of Prätschli. However, as there are only a limited number of parking spaces available in Prätschli, it is recommended that you park your car in the village.
Parking
We recommend to leave your car at the parking garage Ochsenbühl.
