Hof Regitzer

At the Regitzer farm, agriculture becomes a place of learning. As part of "School on the Farm", students gain direct insights into the production of milk and meat as well as into the everyday life of a versatile farm.

The farm offers a wide learning environment: dairy cows with offspring, suckler cows, young animals as well as donkeys, horses, sheep, goats, poultry and other animals enable vivid learning. This is supplemented by topics such as fodder cultivation, arable farming (e.g. maize) and the use of around 31 hectares of agricultural land.

The content is taught in an age-appropriate way and is based on practical experience – from observing to helping out to understanding interrelationships in food production. Teachers can request the visits individually and tailor them to their teaching goals.
