JazzChur

In 2019, the Jazz Club Chur, Weekly Jazz, Soundhund, Palaver and the Academy merged to form the umbrella association JazzChur. With the combined forces, JazzChur now acts as a broad-based organizer in southeastern Switzerland. At over 100 events with more than 350 musicians from home and abroad, the association bundles the entire spectrum of jazz and improvised music. In addition, there are two podcast formats, the quarterly composition commission as part of JazzChur_conex and the JazzChurFestival with a focus on young European jazz. This commitment thus enables first-hand cultural participation – across all language, educational and generational boundaries.
