Klosters became world-famous as a winter and summer holiday resort over 100 years ago. No wonder: the chalet-style village full of character already hosted many illustrious guests from overseas. At the same time, Klosters is one of the most family-friendly holiday resorts in Switzerland.

Description

Klosters is synonymous with its chalet-style village character. Its charm was discoveredby American film stars and the British Royals.

The unique Schlappin, Monbiel and Vereina valleys and the high-alpine region aroundthe Silvretta glacier are all within easy reach from Klosters (and the neighbouringvillages of Serneus, Saas, Küblis). Klosters has been one of the most family-friendlyholiday villages in Switzerland for many years. The Madrisa Land «World of Legendsand Fantasy», situated high up on the mountain overlooking Klosters, offers guaranteedfamily fun in summer as well as in winter.

Take the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) to Landquart, then the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) to Klosters.

Directions

From Zurich, take the A3/A13 motorway (look for the green signs) in the direction of Chur as far as Landquart. From Landquart, continue on the A28 cantonal road to Klosters. Please note that you need a motorway vignette (CHF 40.-) for the motorways in Switzerland. This is available at all border crossings, petrol stations and post offices.
