Green Meetings

Events at the Pontresina Congress and Culture Centre leave a small ecological footprint. It is the first and so far only congress centre in Switzerland to meet the comprehensive sustainability criteria for the ‘Sustainable Company’ certificate awarded by the Expo-Event Live Communication association. A company can only call itself a ‘Sustainable Company’ if it achieves outstanding results in terms of energy use, waste avoidance and mobility, as well as in its responsibility towards employees. For example, the congress centre is powered by 100% certified green electricity and the lighting is gradually being converted to LED.
