This catchment lake, also calles Lake Iselsee, lay on 1'606 m asl, a bit below the village of Arosa.

Description

The catchment lake is situated below the village of Arosa and exists already since 1897. The 12 m high wall keeps the water back. For security reasons, it is not allowed to swim on/in the lake, despite its idyllic views. Fishing is allowed only from its banks and with an according allowance.

The catchment lake is reachable within 30 mins by foot from the trainstation Arosa.

Directions

Follow the sings from Chur to Arosa and turn left before the petrol station and left again in front of the Lido Lake Untersee.

Parking

At the bank of the lake, there is a limited amount of parking spaces available.
