LOCAL Boulder, Cumbel

The LOCAL has two interconnected bouldering areas, the Great Hall and the Kids' Room. On a total area of around 100 square meters, there are varied wall shapes built from uncoated wooden panels. Whether old, young, professional, beginner, everyone will find a challenge according to their abilities.

No previous experience is necessary. Little equipment is needed for bouldering: comfortable sportswear, climbing shoes and optional magnesium. If you don't have your own climbing shoes, you can also boulder with clean indoor shoes. Barefoot climbing is not allowed.

A boulder consists of holds of the same color. The difficulty of the route is marked with a level of difficulty at the starting holds. The start is done with both hands on the marked starting handles. As soon as the feet detach from the floor, all handles of the corresponding color may be used with hands and feet. The target handle is also marked with tape. If this is held with both hands, the boulder is considered complete.

Access

The LOCAL is a bouldering hall open to the public. Payment is made via the TWINT QR code, which can be found on the homepage and as a sticker on the entrance door. Payment is based on trust. Occasionally, random checks are carried out to ensure a fair process.

The bouldering hall is not supervised. Bouldering is at your own responsibility and risk. Children up to 13 years of age may only use the LOCAL when accompanied by an adult. The bouldering hall is under video surveillance.
