Malans

The idyllic village centre of Malans invites you to stroll and linger. In Malans there is a lot to discover for every taste.  The Älplibahn Malans is considered an insider tip of the Graubünden estate. Originally built for military purposes, it now transports enthusiastic mountaineers to a beautiful hiking area. The track is looked after and maintained by volunteers. From the Malanser Älpli, a hiking trail leads via Kamm and Fläscher Alp to the picturesque Fläscher Lakes, which are made up of the Oberst See, Mittler See and Unterst See. The Oberst See is home to lake trout and Canadian Arctic char. On the high plateau above the Malanser Älpli with the field name Obersäss there is also a large, untouched flat moor of national importance.  From an energetic point of view, this is a place of power with uplifting, but also with corrosive energy qualities. It is a truly magical place, the likes of which are rarely seen.
