Mulini di Pisela

Today you can admire some remains: the stone millstone, part of the storage room and part of a room that was to be used as a home. The fields were planted with potatoes, maize, millet, flax, rye, wheat and buckwheat. To grind the cereals they used the mill, which was reached by a mule track. The water that set the wheel in motion came from the "Ria de Pisela". These mills operated until the time of the war (1939-1945), then they closed down.
