Less traffic, more movement - new traffic routing in the Obere Au area

The fresh green of Chur's artificial turf pitches are where the football clubs "Chur97" and "FC Orion Chur" as well as the American Football team "Calanda Broncos" practice and play. These three artificial turf pitches at Obere Au are open all year round.

Opening hours

The artificial turf pitches KR1, KR2 and KR3 can be used throughout the year.

  • Easter (Friday - Monday) open
  • Ascension open
  • Whitmonday open
  • National Day (01.08.) open until 5pm
  • Christmas Eve open until 4pm
  • Christmas closed
  • Boxing Day open
  • New Years Eve open until 4pm

Please find the occupancy plan of the Obere Au field sports pitches here. Please kindly place your reservation via reservationensoau@chur.ch. Please also notify us of any changes by e-mail. Changes or cancellations up to 48 hours (working days) in advance are free of charge. Weather-related changes on the part of the clubs are free of charge up to 12 hours (working days) before the training/game.
