On the Staviala Vedra alp above Lumbrein, the old alpine hut is furnished as it was 100 years ago. Find out more about alpine farming and cheese production many years ago.
Description
The old alpine hut has been lovingly renovated and invites you to travel back in time. See how cheese used to be made and how the shepherds and dairymen lived on the alp in summer. The hut tells with many small details how strenuous a summer on the alp was.
The alpine hut is closed, the key can be collected from the alpine hut staff - please note the closing times from 12:00 - 15:00!
