Péz Regina, Lumnezia

The Péz Regina with its uniform pyramid shape is one of the most beautiful mountains of the Lumnezia. It is also known for the mighty rock crystal group that was found and recovered. One of these crystals is on display at the Casa d'Angel in Lumbrein.

Depending on the visibility and shade, the mountain shape of Péz Regina looks like a dignified and powerful "queen". Many old legends entwine around the mountain. It is said that there is a large cave on the Péz Regina and in it a staircase that leads far down to the gold-spinning queen. Extremely high forces and vibrations indicate pre-Christian cultic uses of the Péz Regina. It is believed that processions and ritual seasonal celebrations were held to support the fertility of humans, animals and plants.
