Plaun Salter fireplace, Danis

The Plaun Salter fireplace is located 840 m above sea level, 1 km north-east of Danis, in a forest clearing near the playground. A possible hiking route that leads past the fireplace is from Brigels in the direction of Tavanasa or the Priel hiking route. The fireplace can be used from around mid-May to the end of October. Please observe any instructions regarding the risk of forest fires, for example. Please make sure that you bring enough water with you, as this fireplace has neither a well nor running water nearby.
