Riesenschaukel Fürstenwald

In the middle of the idyllic Fürstenwald above Chur is the forest playground with the spectacular giant swing - the largest swing far and wide. It was built on the site of the former reservoir and is only accessible on foot, making the visit a little adventure. The swing with a chain length of around five metres provides an incomparable feeling of freedom and movement.

The forest playground was created thanks to an initiative of the Panathlon Club Chur and the "Graubünden bewegt" and "Chur bewegt" programmes. The aim was to motivate young and old to exercise more in nature. In addition to the giant swing, the surrounding area with fireplaces and forest paths invites you to linger and play. A perfect destination for families, nature lovers and all those who enjoy exercise.
