Spluga climbing garden

ENGADIN St. Moritz: Silsersee im Sommer
Small, south-facing climbing area with a beautiful view over Lake Sils.

Description

Emanuele Gerli and Guia Casati set up the routes around 1999. In 2009, J. Zanker and J. Roffler added another route (7c) about 100 m to the right of these routes on the edge of the large roof. These are mainly single-pitch routes between 5 and 7c.

The climbing wall is located near the cantonal road, very sunny and with a view of Lake Sils.

Coming from Sils, approx. 700 m after Plaun da Lej, there is a small parking lot on the left side of the road. Park here. Shortly before the parking lot, a narrow path leads up to Alp Spluga. The mighty rock band is over a kilometer long. The climbing garden is located immediately to the left of the large overhang. It takes 15 minutes from the parking lot to the rocks. The Plaun da Lej climbing garden can also be reached from Spluga in 10 minutes on an easy hiking trail.
