On the initiative of the “Swiss Family”, over 500 fireplaces have been built in recent decades. The Uaul Pign fireplace is one of these.
Description
The Uaul Pign fireplace is located 1100 m above sea level 1.5 km southwest of Waltensburg, on the edge of the forest, near the Kropfenstein ruins, at the Waldfestplatz. A possible hiking route that leads past the fireplace is from Brigels in the direction of Waltensburg.
The fireplace can be used from around mid-May to the end of October. Please observe any instructions regarding the risk of forest fires, for example.
