This very descriptive section of an Aual is close to the Müstair - Cascada da Pisch - Guad - Müstair hiking trail.
On the nearby circular hike Aual Claif, more Auals - historic water canals - can be viewed in the landscape. However, these water channels are no longer used and are not continuously visible.

The approximately 500 year old St. Remigius Church was built on a magnificent viewing terrace, the Mutta. The church is considered to be one of the most beautiful and interesting cultural and historical buildings in the Vorderrheintal.

The Salis House in Jenins, built after the village fire in 1745, is a significant manor house with a spacious orchard. It served as the ancestral home of the Salis-Jenins family and often hosted Johanna Spyri, the author of Heidi.

The Protestant Church in Malans, with its slender church tower and late Gothic nave, displays tomb inscriptions of the noble families of Gugelberg, von Planta, and von Salis. The interior is kept in a simple late Baroque style.
