Although this late Gothic building was damaged in the village fire of 1740, it was essentially preserved until 1904. The entire complex was then rebuilt with the exception of the tower.

The Zalöner huts belong to the typical Walser scattered settlement, which characterize the landscape of the tranquil Safien Valley. From here you can enjoy a great view of the Glaspass, the Piz Beverin and the Bruschghorn.
