Tasty alpine cheese made from non-pasteurised milk, 3/4 fat, matured for at least 10 months in a natural cellar. The nature park cheese is produced on the Alp Curtginatsch, which is the highest cattle alp in the canton of Grisons.

The mobile farm shop "Us am Avers" brings local specialities directly from the high valley to the plate. Alpine cheese, dried meat, salsiz, bira bread and Avner Chümischnaps are among the classics. In addition, there are special discoveries such as rowan berry salt, dandelion balsamic vinegar or mountain teas - made with love by producers from the Avers. Haldenstein is an attractive small village a little way outside of Chur. Its idyllic location between the river Rhine and Calanda mountain is characteristic, as well as its impressive castle.
