Mesocco is the northernmost municipality of the Misox and extends to the San Bernardino Pass. The village includes several houses from the 16th and 17th centuries.

The Lai da Palpuogna was chosen as the "most beautiful spot in Switzerland" in a survey by SRF. The lake with its crystal clear water and the larch forest is truly an oasis of relaxation. Guests can linger at one of the picnic areas with fire pits.

The church is located on the main road, in the center of the small village of Peiden. It was built in the early 18th century. After a fire in 1896, it was enlarged during restoration. Key available.
