The fountain of Caschneras was built in 1934. Like most other village wells, it also performed various tasks. It was a cattle trough and served the village women at the big "Buchata", the washing day on which the bed linen was cleaned in spring and autumn. In addition, all kinds of agricultural equipment were washed in the additional washing trough.
