From the award-winning Trutg dil Flem trail, you reach the Startgels restaurant, where a delicious main course awaits. It descends from the Segnes plains through the area of Europe's largest landslide towards Flims. As such, it is situated within the immediate vicinity of the Sardona tectonic arena, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The trail passes through a geologically significant region, where the processes of mountain formation are particularly visible. The Glarner main thrust fault is especially prominent. Here, older rock layers have been pushed over younger ones.
