Description

Postbus trip over Flüela Pass between Davos and Susch

The Postbus line 331 runs from Davos over Flüela Pass to the Engadine town of Susch. The route offers expansive views of mountains, glacier lakes, and high alpine landscapes. Davos is the highest town in Europe. From here, the bus runs along Lake Davos, situated in a broad high valley. The Flüela Hospice invites you to take a break and offers a view of the Schwarzhorn. Susch welcomes you with typical Engadine architecture. You can visit the fortress ruins of Fortezza Rohan or a modern mineral spa. The journey between Davos and Susch takes about 1 hour.

Traveling with a wheelchair

+ Postbuses are generally equipped to transport wheelchairs. The door for wheelchair access bears an appropriate symbol. + The Postbus between Davos and Susch has an integrated lift that the driver operates (no advance booking needed). This is marked as HL in the SBB timetable.



Bring your bike

If you want to take your bike on the Postbus, please note the following regulations: + Check the online timetable or app to see if a route with a bike icon is displayed + In that case, you must also purchase a reservation for your bike alongside your ticket.



Traveling with a dog

+ Small dogs up to 30 cm are free of charge if they stay in a transport container throughout the journey. The container must be placed under your seat. + Dogs without a container and all dogs exceeding 30 cm shoulder height require a valid dog ticket: half-price second class for adults or the minimum fare (dog day pass, dog pass). Dogs must sit under the seat so as not to block passage for other travelers.



Swiss Activities tip

A circular hike leads through alpine landscapes and lakes at Flüela. It starts at the Wägerhus post bus stop. The trail ascends northeast along the slope to the Winter Lück. Along the way, you can see the Jörigletscher and the Jöriseen lakes. From there, you can continue up to the Jöriflüelafurgga. Afterwards, descend back towards Wägerhus. The hike takes at least 4 hours but can be shortened.
