A hike through the mountain pasture region and a discussion with shepherds about tradition, conservation and nature in coexistence with wolves, bears and lynx

Description

Accompanied by our nature park ranger, participants will hike into the alpine pastures, learning more about the lifestyles of wolves, bears and lynx, and what their presence entails. At the alp, the herdsmen will talk about their daily lives and demonstrate how tradition, conservation and nature shape their work.

Meeting point: Ofen Pass, PostBus stop «Süsom Givè»
End point: Lü, PostBus stop «Cumün»
Duration: 9:00 – approx. 15:00 (walking time approx. 2.5 hours)
What to bring: Weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy footwear, snacks
