At Bad Ragaz railway station, a horse-drawn carriage awaits to take you on a special journey to the entrance of the breathtaking Tamina Gorge. Enjoy a relaxing ride through the idyllic landscape, letting yourself be enchanted by nature. Upon arrival, explore the Old Bath Pfäfers, Switzerland’s oldest preserved Baroque bathhouse. Here, you will delve into the rich history of the baths and learn about the healing properties of the 36.5°C thermal water, which has been attracting visitors for centuries. A walk through the mystical Tamina Gorge (entry fee: CHF 5 per person) leads you to the spring grotto, where up to 7'000 litres of thermal water per minute gush from the rock. For your return journey to Bad Ragaz, the comfortable horse-drawn carriage will be ready to take you back in a relaxed and peaceful manner.
Notes
- The carriage is available for either 3 or 5 hours, depending on the selected duration (round trip: approx. 1.5 hours)
- Each additional half hour costs CHF 50.00 and is payable directly to the coachman.
- Additional departure times or a ride in the Landau carriage (max. 4 people) are available upon request
- Private rides can be booked directly with Rössliposcht
- Operates in all weather conditions, except when cancelled for safety reasons by Rössliposcht. Guests will be informed of any cancellation by the coachman (Milan Odanovic). If possible, an alternative date or a different route will be suggested.

- Not included in the price: Entry to the Tamina Gorge. Admission: CHF 5 per person. The ticket machine is located at the restaurant. Payment can be made online via altes-bad-pfaefers.ch, in cash, or by debit card, credit card, or PostCard
- Public guided tours of the Tamina Gorge and Old Bad Pfäfers take place on selected dates and can be booked here. We recommend the 13.00 carriage ride to ensure you arrive in time for the tour
- Private guided tours of the Tamina Gorge and Old Bad Pfäfers can be booked here

- Bookable for 1 to 12 people per carriage (three carriages available per day)
