If you are coming from Chur, you will see the imposing Plessur Alps on your right. You can see the Gürgaletsch summit (2441 m above sea level). From the north, it looks like a pulse-shaped elevation. In the area around Arosa, you can see the Plessuralpen range with the peaks of Tiejer Flue and Amselflue (both 2781 m above sea level).
