Maria and Fränggi Gehrig grew up in Andermatt (UR) and have been making music together in all possible combinations and formations since their early childhood. They have probably spent more hours making music with each other than with anyone else. After completing their partially joint studies, they decided to focus on performing as a duo. Technical skill and musicality, combined with a seamless interplay, promise a wide range of melodies, rhythms, sounds, and styles. Deeply rooted in Swiss folk music, yet inspired by classical music, jazz, and other musical styles, they give free rein to their gained impressions and experiences.
