Astronomie-Beobachtungsabend

During the observations, the guests themselves become ak6v in practical parts and can explore the night sky with the help of the telescopes. The astronomical phenomena are explained in an easy-to-understand way and according to the needs and prior knowledge of the guests. We use one to two reflecting telescopes (each with a diameter of 20 cm) and an astrograph (special telescope for astrophotography) to observe celestial objects such as planets, moons, galaxies and nebulae. These practical observations are supplemented by a small demonstration in which self-made astrophotos are shown and explanations of the photographed objects are made.

Special on August 12: Solar Eclipse
On August 12, an extraordinary natural spectacle awaits us: Around 92% of the sun is covered by the moon and appears as a narrow crescent. The spectacle is observed from Alp Flix with an unobstructed view over the Graubünden mountains.
