Bauen im UNESCO Welterbe

In Switzerland, around half of the cantons are now home to World Heritage sites. Construction projects must be closely coordinated with the protection of World Heritage.
This topic is addressed in the new special exhibition "Building in the UNESCO World Heritage Site". The focus is on the Rhaetian Railway in the Albula/Bernina landscape. The core zone and the buffer zones are a central element in the implementation of the World Heritage Convention for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage.
