«Berge lesen»-Festival: Lesung mit Petra Hucke

Rousing, highly topical and multifaceted: a novel about man, nature, climate, mountains and the challenges of our time An idyllic village in the Alps, but the mountain is in danger of slipping. Vischnanca is small and beautifully situated on a sunny slope. But nature holds danger: the mountain above the village threatens to slide. This affects everyone: the young farmer Ria is at home here and has made her farm fit for the future as an organic farm. The German Blom family has recently moved to the village and loves everything about it – the nature, the garden by the house, the good neighbours. But now the village community has to vote and is faced with the decision: "Stay or go?" Ria and the people around her have to ask themselves how they want to live and what is really important to them. The book is for sale thanks to the Kunfermann bookstore, Thusis, which will be on site with a book table. There is also the possibility of having the book signed. All interested parties are cordially invited. The café is open for the occasion. After the reading, there will be an opportunity for discussion and exchange. Registration is requested.
