Event Arosa Lenzerheide
Bergkirchli-Konzert mit Christian Albrecht
Description
Do you know Heinrich Pestalozzi? Did you know that there is a memorial plaque at the Bergkirchli in Arosa? - Here, we are not referring to the well-known educator Johann Heinrich. But Heinrich. Just Heinrich - theologian, musician, and poet. He was born in Wädenswil in 1878 and died in 1940. He was married to Lydia Pfeiffer, who contracted tuberculosis in 1911, sought healing in Arosa, and died from her illness in 1914. During this time, her husband – the Heinrich – served as a pastor in Arosa. He composed, wrote poetry, and preached. The church musician Christian Albrecht recites poems from the collection of Heinrich Pestalozzi, which he wrote in and for Arosa, and connects them to organ pieces for the Advent and Christmas season. Interpreted on the 275-year-old organ in the Bergkirchli of Arosa. Christian Albrecht, organ & poetry
