Together with Ursina Hächler, guests hike to the Schafalp in about one hour. Along the way, she vividly imparts knowledge about alpine farming, sheep, and livestock guardian dogs. On site, the functioning interplay of the herd, dogs, and shepherd becomes tangible – a finely tuned triangle that provides protection, calm, and orientation. An impressive insight into everyday life on the alp and the responsible work with the animals.
