Blum – Wild Things Happen in Stillness

**Out of Silence**
"Am I dreaming or am I already alive?" Daughters and granddaughters ask. On the basis of personal conversations and stories of their own mothers, grandmothers and other female caregivers, a multifaceted dialogue between past and present is created on stage. In "Blum – Wild Things Happen in Stillness", words, dreams and realities of women\* of different generations become movements that tell us a lot about realized and unfulfilled life plans, social boundaries, resilience and self-determination. The really important, sometimes wild things need time before they can blossom. Everything that remains unsaid – still waters run deep – is inscribed in the body and sometimes lasts for generations until it finds its way onto the stage of life.

**Choreography of «Blum – Wild Things Happen in Stillness»**
The dance ensemble Moving Mountains by Helena Amor, Elina Kim, Harumi Mumenthaler, Alessandra Hitz and Ellen Wolf from Graubünden and Bern combines organic movement qualities of contemporary dance with the energy and expressiveness of various street dance styles. The dancers each bring their own language of movement, creating a polyphonic, physical dialogue that emphasizes the complexity of the personal interviews. The movements reflect inner processes such as resistance, transformation and liberation and become physical manifestations of memories, dreams and emotions.
