Cinema: «From Inside out» in Ilanz

With the joint short film "Notes From A Day In The Life Of An Architect", director Wim Wenders and architect Peter Zumthor created their first joint project at the invitation of David Chipperfield. As it turned out, this film was only the prelude to something much bigger. They realized that they have a similar way of working: they develop things from the inside out. The desire to tackle a cinematic project together grew ever greater. In this documentary, Wim Wenders deals with Peter Zumthor's work and has two of Zumthor's projects as their guiding theme: the extension of the Fondation Beyeler in Riehen near Basel and the new building of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
