1977, in a small village in Ticino: 16-year-old Mario is caught somewhere between adolescence and adulthood. At school and in life, many things are in flux, especially his relationship with his authoritarian father. For the summer, he is sent to the mountains to work on a farm. There he encounters a rugged but free world where nature sets the pace. In this environment, Mario discovers new forms of responsibility, sensuality, and artistic self-determination—experiences that permanently change his view of himself and his future.
