«Country Concerts Paspels»

The village of Paspels is fantastically nestled in the beautiful Domleschg. In addition to the village church in the middle of the centre, there is the chapel of St. Maria Magdalena in the district of Dusch.

This special place will be included in the country concerts. The concert afternoon begins in the village church. Afterwards, you hike to the chapel of St. Mary Magdalene. A ride will be organized for people with walking disabilities.

After returning to the village, an aperitif (included in the ticket price) will be served at the schoolhouse, before the final concert in the village church concludes the country concert day in Paspels.

The Ensemble Pyramide, which has been in existence since 1991 with flute, oboe, string trio and harp, plays highlights from its immense repertoire of works by Frantisek Krommer, Maurice Ravel, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Benjamin Britten and Emmanuel Chabrier.

For mobility-impaired listeners, a ride between the school building and the shower will be organized. Please register in advance with GAUDENZ transports ( 081 651 55 77 / 081 630 75 75). In case of very bad weather, all concerts will take place in the schoolhouse and in the village church.
