Event San Bernardino Mesolcina Calanca
Eloisa Vacchini e Vocalia 4tet singing project
Description
Is there really a link between music, vibrations and the golden ratio? This event invites the public to discover it through an immersive experience that combines song, architecture and theoretical reflection. The voices of the Vocalia quartet will guide listeners on a musical journey that spans the centuries, from the fourth to the twenty-first, exploring the relationship between harmonic proportions, frequencies and space.
The evocative Romanesque church of San Giulio, with its history that has its roots in the thirteenth century, becomes an integral part of the acoustic experience, amplifying the dialogue between sound and architecture.
Conceived by architect Eloisa Vacchini, who has always been committed to the study of the relationships between music and built space, the project features the Vocalia quartet, made up of voice and sound research professionals. Its members are: Oskar Boldre (musician, choir director, composer and teacher); Costanza Sansoni Baratella (music therapist and teacher); Clara Tadini (musician, choir director and teacher) and Davide Bianchi.
The event, lasting about 90 minutes, will be divided into three musical moments accompanied by brief insights. Afterwards, aperitif offered.
