Event Engadin Samnaun Val Müstair
Exhibition opening "plomer plajer culer"
Description
The "plomer plajer culer" exhibition brings contemporary art to Val Müstair and connects the exhibition venues in the valley. All museums open their doors for the vernissage - the joint launch takes place at Chasa Jaura.
"plomer plajer culer" (layer, fold, flow) is an art and awareness-raising project that brings together cultural players, artists and scientists. The first edition (2025) placed the landscape at the center of the exhibition. In 2026, the focus is on culture and history. One focus will be on textile works that draw on the rich tradition of weaving in the valley. Other positions relate to architectural and historical themes in the valley.
"plomer plajer culer" challenges conventional perceptions, promotes a critical examination of environmental issues and encourages reflection on our relationship with nature. Art appeals to emotions, is memorable and makes complex scientific topics more accessible.
